If everything stays on schedule it looks like the Tanzbär will be released later this month. Is anyone else excited for this or looking to get one? I've never been too excited about MFB gear, but their latest offerings including the Dominion has peeked my interest quite a bit. They have a great vintage analog sound while offering a lot of modern features. They cost more than previous MFB offerings, but most of their products were cheap to begin with and these seem to be of much better standards.
The Tanzbär build quality looks solid and the workflow on this thing seems like it will be lightning fast for editing and composing. With 14 analog drum parts in addition to a simple analog bass part along with a melody part is more than most drum machines out there. The cool thing about this is you could use these 2 synths parts to control and drive any other synths you want in conjunction with the Tanzbär. That's what I plan to do at least. It seems as though issues the 522 had are gone with this, but of course everything remains to be seen.

I also like the fact that it's an 808-like drum machine, which will hopefully give it niche sound. I like the original 808 kick sound, but the rest I could care less about and rather have something different. The other thing I like about this afaik is that the Tanzbär doesn't use samples like a lot of 'analog' drum machines do. It has a lot of cool features like being able to record knob movements on the fly is really nice.
