I actually prefer the classic sound from this recording .
Wow. I'm with you, Ariel. The Nyquist version sounds comparatively restrained somehow.

I am also a big fan of RADAR and still use the old Otari-branded RADAR II.

I don't see the tune you reference on their site, but have never heard the Nyquist converters described as 'restrained'. I don't notice it here either.

Can you help me find that file? Thanks!

*edit - Found them under the picture of each board. Their site is slow to stream so I've not listened. No info on sample rates, etc.

I didn't get a controller, any I/O cards, meter bridge or sync card.
I did get the transport option on the face plate w/the touch screen, 1 solid state drive, and DVD/CD burner.
It's a faster machine, and with the same cards I can hear the difference.
Love the new radarview options too, it just looks hip and is a stronger unit.
Was in a tight squeeze and had to operate without a monitor for a few days on a location recording.
Didn't miss looking at a screen all day.
Great stuff, loved the classic 24, but this is amazing
Hi man
You say with the same cards you can hear the difference what's the difference you can hear?

Thanks mate
