I can't do the puzzle, but whatever it is, I'll probably buy it. I'm not sure what the plugin is adding to the audio in the preview video posted, but it sure sounds cool.

I know I need it... even though I'm not quite sure exactly what it does . Appears to be some kinda filter, delay/repeater, sequencer, bit crusher thing?... with an obviously unique interface... and some kinda logic functions maybe?

demo video contains some AMAZING sounds... closest I've heard to NIN's "The Fragile" -esque sounds on some of the leads, if that's what this thing does.

Also hearing some Richard D. James influence on the detuned piano/string type sound that he uses a lot, or used to anyhow.

My holidays would definitely be nicer with an imminent release of permut8. Can't wait to test it.

From the soniccharge website " normally this summer". Beta seems stable. Maybe a question of days\weeks.

Wow blast from the past it was only seeing this thread that reminded me of Sonic Charge and that I own two of their plugs already..I haven't been able to use Synplant and Microtonic for the last 18 months since upgrading to 64Bit = shame I kind of hoped they would focus some attention on what they have sold to people rather than investing what must be considerable time in making something new.

to be honest this could make my arse sing opera I still wouldn't buy it....based on the above. very disappointing.
I am not really into re selling tools/instruments but even then you can't do that.

Working in Cubase 6.5 64 bit (microtonic ultra stable / synplant crashes occasionaly).

I really like Synplant, but have been waiting for them to port over to RTAS/AAX for the last couple years…
