Software Coming soon on patchpool: ChromaZone for Chromaphone - pre-order now

So it struck me a few days ago when AAS released Chromaphone out of the blue, after a first test I just had to make a Bank for this little beauty:

ChromaZone for Chromaphone

This soundset will contain +110 patches for Chromaphone by AAS. I'll focus on slightly odd emulations of real instruments like mallets, bells, plucked strings and tines, hybrid strangers and percussive material as well as experimental patches, soundscapes and noises.
In case AAS updates Chromaphone to add Pitchbend, Microtuning and Aftertouch until the release I will make use of these features. If not then I will add these controls to the patches once the update may have taken place and all customers will receive a free update of ChromaZone.

Release date: Around Xmas
Delivery: Email
Price: 18 €

You can pre-order Chromazone now for 14 € and save +20%

Chromaphone is described as a Percussion synthesizer but it can do amazing Soundscapes, Drones and Pads as well. Check out this demo:

Demo for Wood Bass and some custom Chromaphone drums - I used up the FX in the Wood Bass so I needed to add a tad of EchoBoy to both Chromaphones

Simon....there's a "Bongo" sound set of sorts that comes with the stock patches but they are quite "pitchy" if you will. A lot of musical note in there. Especially when you try to make a sound-set of three bongos.
Did you by any chance come up a any conga bongo sound set ?
Really, really like the idea of Chromaphone but not convinced it will work for everything.

I'll have a go at some less pitchy bongo/conga-like sounds tomorrow...shouldn't be too hard to achieve with Chromaphone.

The earlier question prompts another question:

Simon, why don't you license your excellent patch collections to Camel like e.g., Martin Walker/ Ian Boddy/ Luftrum etc. have, and benefit from the wide exposure they would get by so doing?

I'm sure you have your reasons, but just wondering.

Camel doesn't sell Chromaphone patches, do they? I just did some Alchemy patches for their next soundset actually so we are collaborating.
Concerning my own Banks we'll see. Until now I'm fine with doing my own Alchemy thing, gives me more freedom...

Yes I was referring to the Alchemy sets specifically. A little OT.

The Chromaphone patches sound great!
