I've been using Ozone since 3, and really liked the jump from 3 to 4. Hopefully this one will be on par with that. I'd like to see less brittle limiting, and the overall limiter made more robust a la L3-16 caliber stuff...

Yeah, if this is as good a jump as from 3 to 4 than we are all in for something awesome! I can't wait to hear!!

Maybe 5 advanced is like the current 4 and the standard will be a simplified version with less features and cheaper price -- just guessing myself.

So far all upgrade offers from iZotope have been fair.

This does look interesting indeed ;-)

Wonder if Ozone 5 Advanced with be capable of running standalone as a full mastering solution, a la Waveburner?

Would be ironic seeing as the latest version of Ozone 4 is incompatible with the latest version of Waveburner... Not that I'm a conspiracy but

Probably one of the best and sort of affordable multiband processors offering decent quality when things come to digital mastering. Needless to mention that literally everybody is looking forward to giving this a go regardless of their opinion about the earlier versions of this plugin.

I hope the manufacturer won't go for of the top charges for either of the versions.
