Maybe you could keep the company name as it is, and instead come up with product names, parameter names, and GUI faceplates that don't blatantly rip off other people's original work?

It's a crazy idea, I know, but what the hell... it's Wednesday night and I'm feelin' spunky!

As a graphic designer, my advice is not to go with that logo. It looks to me as if it's Times New Roman stretched around 150 %. While Times New Roman is deinately not the most original typeface, it's also a basic rule of typography that you should not stretch letters. If you need a wider text, you use a wider typeface.

Think of doing an stretch to an audiofile, you'll loose all the natural transients. It's the same with typography. May work as an effect once in a while, but not encouragable. Or stretch a photo with a face on it, it doesn't look natural or balanced anymore.

Using photoshop bevel effects is a bit of the same as using some an obvious audio effect or a known preset, professionals will notice it.

Good luck .

Wanted to ask if anyone tried the air-q plug and how it stacks up to the Maag?

I'll have to check it out. I have the bundle, but looks like the air-q is new. I own the maag plugin, too. On first glance, I don't think it would do the same thing, as the top frequency is at 16 kHz, whereas the Maag can be set at up to 40 kHz for a much gentler rise in the audible region.
