There was no email for users about this from DDMF?
What is the difference between those versions?
Good question.

I have 6144 1.1.0 so I just tried downloading 1.1.1
After it downloads I get a message saying "Decompression Failed".

So I can not install it....?

Out of interest I then checked my LinComp.

It is version 1.0.3

I downloaded it again to see if there is also a newer version.
It was still 1.0.3 but when the download finished I got the same message "Decompression Failed".

Something weird is going on with the Mac installers Christian ??

10.8.3

EDIT UPDATE: and then the passwords arrived to unzip the downloads....
It is so long since I installed both DDMF plugs I forgot about the passwords.
(In fact I don't recall needing passwords before...maybe it is a new thing ??)

Anyway, I was able to unzip 6144 and install it.
still would like to know what is new in 1.1.1 of 6144

cheers

Not in my studio now but on a Mac I think I right clicked on the zip file in the Downloads folder, selected the default option to unzip it and then a window asking for the password appeared.

Copied in the password and it was good.

Yes, unfortunately the standard Mac unzipper is not capable of unzipping password-protected files... please follow these instructions: How to open password protected zip in Mac OS X - Techie Corner . I will add this link to the download email as well.

Interesting.

I don't have zipeg.
But I managed to unzip the password protected file.

I just used the default which is Archive Utility.

Right Click on the zipped password protected download from DDMF
Select > Open With > Archive Utility (default)
Next you get asked for the Password.

I've never heard of Archive Utility before I did this !

Certainly didn't download it knowingly.

cheers

I din't had any problems. The Unarchiver app did it ok.
@docdued
Hi
Just wanted to ask about this last version 1.1.1
Somehow I heard some change in sound in last version. It sounds like better to me. Like some sort of change in the harmonics simulation?

Is this the case, or am I wrong?

Thanks.

P.S.
This is my No.1 EQ now after trying the vast amount of others.

Edit: It was situation when HF-LF cut button was off, and it sounds beautiful than. After enabling HF-LF cut filters, HI cut is creating tiny veil over high frequencies even when is completely open on 22Khz.
That was the case in this replay.

Hmm, I don't think so... the only change between 1.1 and 1.1.1 was that I fixed numerical entering of values in the GUI. Maybe the plugin just gets better with age!

LoL
Numbers are mystery...

Maybe you changed just one zero and it changed other zeros, and two or three rows, right on the amp simulation.heh

No, it's oK. Null test is 100% the same.

Now new version 1.1.1 is installed, I can feel freshness in the air.

Zipeg extracted the file but the results were unusable - weird interface.

The Unarchiver worked well.

Thanks!

Talking

I found this on the Facebook on DDMF page.

DDMF shared a link.

So in a few hours we all will cease to exist, so they say. And what better way to spend your last hours than to record some great music? Since money isn't of much importance anymore under these circumstances, DDMF is selling exactly 21 Full Bundles with a 50 % reduction off the usual $149 (not for resale... well not that it really matters, does it?). Just head over to DDMF: VST/AU/RTAS plugins, audio software and enter "endoftheworld" (without parantheses) into the voucher form when going through the normal Full Bundle purchase procedure. Have a great ride!

This was so cool that I had to share this here.

Absolutely - wouldn't be without it

One thing is odd though, the bypass knob of the highest and lowest frequency bands are merged into one knob - and DDMF should do a celebration update adding M-S function. Still it's great!

Absolutely agree with you. I would prefer to disengage that HI Cut filter, (like SonEQ Pro did) cause it creates some filtering in the highs even when open to 22Khz.
Usually I turning it off, and EQ sounds even better. But than there is no Hi shelve and Low shelve bands.

If there is a chance to have HI-Cut filter "off" state of the button, that would be great for all times.
Great EQ

In the attachment 24 bit file test. (Hi Cut filter on 22Khz Low Cut on 20Hz) low eq=0, and Hi=0, when in use. First one is without, and later on and off. (LF/HF IN -button).

Edit: Also to report one bug in AU version. When recalling preset that was saved without LF/HF IN button it always turn it ON, when recalled.

Just passing this on:

"30th of December, 2013: it's on! The biggest sale in the history of DDMF has just started, two hours earlier than planned... from now, 10:18 p.m. Central European Time until the beginning of 2014 (that would be 00:00 on the 1st of January 2014, again Central European Time) all DDMF products are available for half the price. That's almost 26 hours to shop 'til you drop! Just click your way to the store, that's where the reduction is becoming effective, so ignore the prices here on the website for today... Hope you get the best out of it, and of course, have a great 2014!"

Now, to go shopping!

I reinstalled the system, and Logic and it validates OK in 32 bit too.

I'm on the latest Mavericks now since Integer mode is back.

Just bought my self the 6144.
Been a big user of the IIEQ pro and although they are different i think they sound somewhat similar when used in broad strokes
which is great cause i found the work flow to be improved a lot by having a few knobs i can turn with the mouse wheel without having to select which band i want to see the spec of.
Anyhow.
There's a lot of contender out there but for the sound and the ease of used this one's got my 40$

Good job DDMF

Didn't read the whole thread but if i set up a LC, closed the GUI and then open it again, it doesn't show the LC value but the LS value instead. I still can ear the effect of the LC tho.

Anyone else has the same issue ?
I'm in Reaper 32 bit Windows XP SP3
