Minimal Systems "Punch" - 1176 style Comp

Just came accross this 1176-style compressor from Minimal Systems. From the manufacturer's website:

Punch
is one of Minimal System Instruments most popular plugins as it is an up-to-date version of one of the all time classic analogue compression and limiting processors. Punch offers an array of ratio's including 2:1, 4:1, and 8:1 perfect for compression duties - but there is also the 20:1 ratio designed for full limiting applications. With a simple interface yet unrivalled versatility Punch is a studio tool that you should not be without.

  • Ultra-fast attack time.
  • Unique Analogue characteristics.
  • FET Gain Reduction Emulation.
  • Input & Output Gain Adjustment Knobs with adjustable Attack and Release Settings.
  • Custom Output Transformer Emulation design.
  • Full automation capabilities.
  • Flexible VU metering options.
  • Stunning modern GUI.
  • Based on the 1176AE Limiting Amplifier Compressor.

Format is VST (x86) / Windows.

Price is £5.00 (introductory offer), normal price is £10.

There's a demo available - the limitation is a burst of white noise every 2 minutes.

*FYI I'm not related to the company.*

Cheers!

No reason to trash them, just give them a listen and it says enough.
