You just gotta love the dates on this thread... possibly a record.

Sorry I had to mess it up by not waiting a few years to post this.

I waited one year - sorry for the rush!

I have one, and as of now haven't found its place yet.
Tried it on guitar cab and male vocals, but always had something more suitable in my locker.
I'll try it on trombone and trumpet soon. Maybe I'll change the tranny to a Lundahl. Not sure about it yet..

It's my first and only ribbon btw., so I have no real reference.
I notice lots of low end and a lack of crispyness.

I bought a poly-chorus in 2005 i think, and they advertised the ribbon mic in their brochure of products that came with the pedal. I recall it costing $700 or $800, which seemed expensive. Now that I am looking around for unique Ribbons i remembered this one and wondered if anybody had one. Kind of disappointing to realize its a rebranded. Anybody else ever use the Oktava ML-52?

Ok so let's hear it!

Just got one on demo now. Retail is about 300$ and like it already on drums mono overhead. Gonna record vocals and sax tomorrow....

Got a Sigma & Delta too, but the Delta died, thats why I got this while waiting for its repair.

cheerz!
