You are right! Let's say he's just proud in what he does.

And I'm sure he won't like you either for telling him that I called him a diva!

He doesn't have to know, does he?

I can keep my mouth shut if you can

After all, it might have been Chris Jowett, one of our service engineers, after all...

Chris Jenkins (AWS designer, SSL stalwart of 27 years) is a man I am really happy to have on the team - absolute legend!

Dear Jim.

could you reply smthg to my other question? Please?
The talkback is a really annoying thing on the aws900+ right now.
noone except me was reporting that its bad?
Even if i could do smthg about it would be nice because during tracking i have to use my hand which is really annoying while u r in a middle of a session...
Will be any upgrades in the near future?
Thx

I'm not Jim, but here's an old school trick. Setup a mic in the control room, output of the mic pre into your DAW. Put a gate on that channel that is keyed by your stereo bus. Swtich the gate to duck. Everytime the music plays your mic channel will be closed, as soon as the music stops your mic will be open. It's not pretty but it works

I've had a word with the team, and the "AutoCue" function (Talkback = "on" when DAW = "stop") is "on the list" for the 900+, but as yet we do not have a firm date fir it's release.

I've given them a nudge for youthumbsup

Has anyone heard the new X Rack G bus comp? If so is it sonically equal, better, worse, different etc from the standard rack unit version? I just did a shootout with my C2 and a friends G bus and decided I need the SSL, so now I must decide whether to go X Rack r just normal.
Thanks
PM me if you'd like

Certainly NOT!get your hands off! tutt lol.
I don't like pimping on these forms and normally stay well clear of it, but as well as running a studio supplying the gear is what I do.

I pimped... I feel ashamed Actually check all my posts, I think thats the only time I ever have!
You'd never catch someone like the great Fletcher pimping, I must follow his lead better.

PS My own X-Rack gear is my own hands off heh
