new reason goes Golden Master

don't know how old this is, if everyone already knows, no one cares.... but this was just in my inbox....

"Breaking News: Reason 4 goes Golden Master!
---------------------------------------------------------
We are beyond happy to announce that we have reached an important
milestone this week as Reason 4 hit Golden Master status. This is tech
speak for having finished beta testing and shipped the master copy of
the software DVD to the duplication plant.

We would like to thank all the testers who have helped us tracks down
the bugs in Reason 4 during beta testing.

Now we enter a stage of manufacturing and shipping that will end with
the public release of Reason 4. We have not set a date for this release
yet, since we need to know that all parts of the production apparatus is
working before we can commit to a date. Watch propellerheads.se for
updates.

Further down in this month's newsletter you can find a collection of
questions and answers about the upgrade procedures to Reason 4."

I wonder if that meant i was a beta tester and didn't know it...

finally!

i thoughtda swedish where very productive... it takes propellerhead about 4 years to add a new fx module... and 8 years for a new synth..

just another mean and over-generalized comment...

It is worth the wait... Props really put ALOT of effort into getting this market ready... trust me, I know... while their might only be one new synth, THOR is FAR from a single synth... While it is grea,t the workflow improvements alone are worth the price of admission and for me the most value new tool, then their is the arpeggiator, the Groove Machine.... not to mention the completely redesigned sequencer... but I guess you will just have to wait to see/hear it

Reason is solid as a rock every time for me.

maybe thats why it takes them awhile each update, unlike other companies they actually work on ironing out all the bugs.

I participated in the beta tests and really like the new stuff.

The whole program runs smoother (it already was solid)
and the sequencer has some new features that will definetly aid people who like to use the sequencer with rex loops

tons of other stuff too, Ill be getting my copy as soon as it hits the store
