This product had me very interested so i downloaded a trial, seems an eLicenser is neccessary.

It's no biggie if you are a Steinberg DAW user (Cubase or Nuendo) or have VSL products otherwise I can understand the annoyance.

The full version does not require the USB eLicenser. I'm running it right now on my MBP without it.

I have two eLicensers, both popped up fine in Control Center. Then I bought a license for Spectralayers7 Elements and put the license on one of them. Now neither is recognized by the eLicencer Control Center and I only get an error message: "Application 'LCC2' has caused the following error: Process with the ID NOT found."

Anyone knows whats up with this?

the SB elicencer servers are currently in meltdown - they'll be back online soonish

Hmmm....it's December 15 2020. Just updated CB11, wavelab, bunch of Arturia, Softube.....

A sale price on the full SL Pro 7 right about now or in the next week would probably trigger someone I know to buy it for one of the slave daws.
