As far as I know, yes. Would be surprised to see paid updates before 3.0.

How does it work? I don't understand it :-/

Another question: if i select Artist Carl Cox Chords #1 how can i play those 6 chords by hitting keys on the pc keyboard?

You have an option to bind the chords to your MIDI keyboard next to the Chords section. In the preferences you will find more adjustments.
Bass and Melody work accordingly. You choose them in the perormance section and they follow the chords you play.

Best practice is to watch some video tutorials and join the scaler forum because the software is quite deep.

Just purchased scaler 2 how do l setup my synthesizer to use the sound patches from my synth in scaler my daw is Ableton. I can't find any instructions or videos that would explain this any help would be appreciated.
