Excellent clarity on this. It's the code from a highly regarded guitar pedal reverb.

Not another reverb. I'll have to demo this. I can't spend no more money.

Very interesting. Right now I am sitting on a track that has some real handclaps functioning as a significant snare. Tonight my aim was to give them some room without flushing them into reverb too much. Just a little to make them stand out.

I then took the time to make a shoot-out with all the reverb-plugins I have. I ended up with a combination of SPL De-Verb (to get rid of the room sound of the claps in order to have them really dry), the Schoeps Mono Upmix and Unfiltered Audios Byome using the "Drum Chamber Verb"-preset.

It sounded nice to me so I moved on. Half an hour later I saw this posting here and downloaded the trial of the Wet Reverbator. Added it to the existing chain by using the "Bright Snare"-preset and yeah ... that step made it go from nice to yeah in the way I originally wanted the claps to sound.

I tested it against the 2 United Plugins and the Liquidsonics reverbs and uninstalled this. It’s nice but not amazing.

Edit: tested this more, I think it has a very similar tone to Denise Audio’s Perfect Room.

Did you reinstall just to test again? And what made you uninstall then install again? Bi-polar much lately? Lol

Yep, bi-polar and a slut for reverbs...
I thought I’d take it for another spin after reading the comments on it.

Edit: Because I’m bi polar....

Are you sure?
Isn't it meant as in "I can't get no satisfaction"?

If you knew beforehand that you was going to have a demo, why make it so you have to jump through the checkout hoops to use it...would it honestly kill you to just make it an installer that somebody could download without the gatekeeping.out of principle i am not gonna try this plugin cause i am absolutely tired of this ****.having to either use fake email addresses everytime i need to try out a demo,or having my main inbox flooded with insert whoever's promotional crap.the internet is seriously one of the worst inventions ever.not only did it make stuff like this the norm, but it also enables me to rant about it at 3 in the morning

That's why I haven't demo, don't feel like getting anymore promo emails and unsubscribing to them later just to demo this. Im more then covered for reverbs and the lack of interest has me thinking this is nothing ground breaking.

Getting promo emails to my email address that I use for this purpose anyway is a small price to pay to demo something. That's how I feel. YMMV.

It sounds good. Definitely better than the Denise Audio one - not sure what you're smokin'

It's maybe not "natural" sounding, but that might be good for synths like I'm trying it out on. At $50 intro it might be worth picking up. It's absolutely worth trying out.

At $100... well... that competition is even tougher.

My one immediate complaint is that the UI is "ok" in size, but really needs to be resizeable. It's 2020. Second is also about the UI, in that it's not going to win ease-of-use awards, though it is reasonably well-featured. OK. A 3rd issue is that making adjustments in the UI can cause noise.

So far it's sounding pretty good on my OB-6 on "Drum Hall" with 14% mix instead of the default 5%.

Ha! I think you’re smoking that “it’s new, it’s new it’s new!”, it really isn’t special when compared to it’s competition. Sorry if you don’t want to hear that. Peace ✌️

Extrapolate much?

I said:
1) it sounds better than the denise audio reverb to me
2) it has some UI issues
3) it's worth trying out for the $50 intro price but that $100 would be a tough sell

Now that I've tried it out for more than a few minutes:
1) It sounds good for $50, but I'd still pick Valhalla(s) first - I wouldn't pay $100 at this point
2) It's a little too metallic in tone for my tastes, but I like the available controls and it does sound pretty smooth and rich
3) I'm interested in what the future brings in terms of updates etc - I'd potentially demo it again
4) I'm not purchasing it at this time

It's okay.

Not really an improvement over so many reverbs available to most of us.

The more wet you drive it there is a certain sound. But I'm going for something more natural sounding. This leans a bit more fake. (I know, digital, right?)

I think pass on this one.

Seems the case of an overcrowded market right now. Too many reverbs on offer, those two freebies from Arturia and Native Instruments over xmas would have filled some gaps for wanting more.

Someone who's into the reverb pedal sound it is modeled after may choose to buy it but why would anyone with 3-4 good solid reverbs already in their arsenal?

IMO, the guitar pedal this is from sounds amazing - I’ve been a fan of it for years. I haven’t tried the plugin yet, so I don’t know how it compares for sure.

But for those of you not familiar with it, it is not supposed to sound like a natural space. I always think of it as an otherworldly reverb on a pedalboard.

Has anyone here actually tried it with guitar? I would imagine that’s where it would most immediately excel...

Good points here. It's a very lush, swirly kind of reverb that's used and loved by many famous guitar players and it's easy to use. If you notice it has (3) LFO's to modulate the verb so you can get some serious wobble if you want. The Width control is very helpful as well to open it up or focus (pan) the verb behind a sound in the stereo space.

Not sure it's the thing for real rooms but for washes, ethereal sounds it's pretty great. Not sure why Brian did not include the other room types in the pedal as at $100 that would make it more valuable for the $. His plate is really good as are the other room types.

At $49 its a good buy IMO if you need/want that kind of sound. My 2 cents
