I would hope for a channel strip. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I’d love to see a new version of the Mico with the HMX, Iron, variable HPF, variable impedance, variphase, improved metering all on both channels + built in power supply and a POWER BUTTON.

There an inverse law at work here, with UAD and Audient's "drama" countdown release boloney marketing.

IME - the greater the build up - the bigger the anti-climax.

Reminds me of something else actually

I own few Audient pieces and use them daily, but the last two products they released were so unexciting that I don't have any hopes for this one

Did things go south for them?

I thought they were really onto something with the ID22, ID14 and ADAT 8 pres.

They were offering an objective improvement in quality for the price range.

And I think they were very successful.....then they got greedy.

The ID44....Ugh...scam product. Nobody needed that thing, they didn't even give you 4 inserts.

The ID44 was quite literally the exact same thing you get by ADDAT'ing an ID22 and ID44 together....but at TWICE the cost. It was a clear "tier" product "...This is the 44...then we'll do the 66 then..."

They never stopped to ask....."Does anyone really need to spend close to a grand on a 4 in 6 out interface with no MIDI bus and nothing significant added to what consumers could already have for less?"

For a company that made their rep on bang-for-buck, I thought it was extremely
cynical and seemed to be the result of someone telling them "Don't worry, the marks will buy ANYTHING"

Then there was the fudged numbers on latency (Which GS busted them on)

Real turn off...and this announcement REEKS of another company who is contemptuous of their customers (How ever many are left)...it's like "Inventing the future, all over again"....."Countdown to the biggest announcements in audio history....3..2..1..................Digital 808/909....YEAH!!"

Such a ROLAND thing to say

Perfect as long as you don't need to use headphones, the amps are so weak it's kind of a joke, useless when tracking drums

LOL, I love my iD44, and have absolutely zero complaints. Sounds nicer than the iD22 as well. Different strokes, I suppose...

I'm going on a very crazy guess here...

You mean you don't hear the click?
They are pretty weak but I never had any trouble listening in any situation.

Click is one thing, it would be nice to hear some music as well. In my friends iD44 there's this weird thing when he turn the headphones too much it causes the drops in recording signal lol
