More likely a more proper integration of the the EA Reverbs into the iZoptope GUI and Product install & Authorization.

With maybe some added features "talking" to other plugins for Tonal Balance interaction.

I figured it would mainly be for adding RX8 Standard to the bundle.

Will be more than that.

Ahh, that sounds interesting. Let's hope it isn't simply a new reverb, or their take on doing an AI reverb.

They might have implemented something like Bassroom.

Or as you maybe suggested integrating the EA verbs as sends and then having some AI feature to feed them from the sends back in to the mix with post eqing based upon how it reads your mix (hence the "without muddying your mix" part).

Maybe they've added a more advanced de-harsher such as DSEQ 2 or Soothe 2. Or maybe they have done a kind of Gullfoss emulation.

Be interesting to see what they've come up with. Hopefully it won't be a damp squib when the announcement is made.

Upgraded to MPS 3 just two weeks ago, I hope they will be nice and let me have the upgrade

The AI assistant stuff already kind of behaves like Mixroom/Bassroom when setting its EQ curve, major difference being the MTM plug-ins are constantly reading and updating their analysis, versus AI assistant analyzing a specific time window based on where you start it.

Then there is the Low End Focus module.

Whatever it ends up being, I hope it's something I'll get a lot of use out of.

EDIT: Just wondering whether it might be worth updating to MPS3.1 before the end of the month for the $299 even though I all ready have it as then there will be the automatic update to MPS4 on its launch.
Just wondering how much update from MPS3.1 to MPS4 will be next month (i.e. will it be more than the $299). Any thoughts?

Has anyone notice any “reverb like features ” surface in RX8??

This MPS4 feature has me intrigued, perhaps it’s what I predicted. Perhaps they did do something new with the acquired EA tech. Why else acquire it unless you plan to do something new?!? Well that’s my thinking anyway.

I just upgraded from ozone 5 (yeah; I know) and found that there seem to be some things missing from ozone 9. I realize that one of them is the reverb, but I never used that. I am curious if anyone can comment on the sliders in 5 that used to control "amount" of a given section. I always found these very useful to push things in one direction or another and for some reason izotope seems to have nixed this? Does anyone have thoughts or solutions to a similar effect? Or do you not find those necessary?
