Thanks Brad,

We have really worked hard to build a console that works perfectly for todays engineer by giving him or her modern features without compromising audio performance. Ohh yes it's a beautiful centerpiece for your studio that will make everyone take notice and put facilities ahead of the competition. This is truly a work of art as well as a modern recording console. Appreciate the kind words

Thanks.

It looks both beautiful and functional. What is the 16 module board going to cost?

Very nice. Comp on every channel is a plus. I also like that you put the EQs close to the faders within easy reach. This is much better than the more traditional way imo.

If I had the funds...this would be the console I would get!

Love the layout!

i'd drop the term 'recording' console: i'm pretty sure those getting such a desk will also use it for mixing (especially since not everyone is using all comps on the way to the tape but will want to use them on the way back)...

I love when art and circuits synergize like that. I won't be at the show to see it in person, but hopefully you'll be at NAMM with it so I can drool on it. Ha. I'm a huge fan of your work.

Have a wonderful show!

cheers,
Brad

Geoff and Dave this is a really amazing console. Congrats on getting this thing together. It looks beautiful and the feature set is impressive. It was great to hear from Dave at the Sweetwater Gearfest about some of the internals on this thing. Really incredible work!

Beautiful. Dream console but too big for project studios. Unobtanium foralmost all of us.

A cut down 12-16 channel consolette would be epic.

They make a 16 channel console. Without the center workstation a 16 channel console is only 4 feet wide... perfect for a super small control room. With the centerpiece workstation it’s only 6 feet. Tough to go wrong...

Depth is a bigger issue in the smaller project studios I've seen.

For example, the little Tree Audio desk is 31" deep.

The Box 2 is only 26" deep.

I don't have specs of the Daking, but it looks pretty deep, and you need room behind it. Do you know the depth?

This Daking seems designed for the big console high end market, like the big Neves and API, which is awesome (but not a consolette).

Still a dream board.

Good Day,

Our MKII Console is only 34'' Deep. So its within the ballpark of the other products you mentioned. Keep in mind that our desk has 2 inputs per module, 16 inputs in the center section as well as Mic Pre, EQ, High & Low Pass Filter Plus a Comp/Limiter on each channel. A small 16 channel console has a total of 46 active channels to mix on a 16 channel console. We really tried to keep the size down based on the feature set. Don't believe any other product has these features in that small of a package.
Thanks for the Kind words...

I would HIGHLY recommend going to booth 225 and get a demo of this console. It’s freaking ridiculous ! Geoff has hit this one out of the park...

This looks beautiful. How does this compare to something like the Neve Genesys and what is the cost? It looks very feature-intensive...!

Congrats, Geoff!

Question: Is there a fader just prior to the "recording button"? I know you mention Mic Pre, Compress, EQ, etc, but you don't mention a fader (to control level going into the recording). You do mention using the big faders on playback but I just wondered about recording level.
