When you compare it to buying hardware verbs, it's a steal.

And FYI all, we've got this 6176 promo happening:

https://www.uaudio.com/premium-studio-upgrade
You guys should consider an OCTO + REVERBS Promotion. HW plus all/most (or give the buyer a choice of like 4-5?)

The UA Potted Plant Guy collection?

Seriously though, those would be some cool comps! I have a HW Federal and use it on parallel vocals.

well beyond the fact i do enjoy the plugin, when i said "UAD kills" it was more like UAD is not forcing people to update OS and DAW.

i do not know what happened but by the time i was searching for mac os compatibility, it was not written that such old OS like 10.8.5 on mac were supported.

I had a secret hope that snow leopard would be supported but, mountain lion will be fine for sure.

Again, thank you as well for not being like most brands : a pain in the [email protected]@ with their upgrade mania

Thank you UA! I really appreciate being able to save the scribble strip names in the session files. Just picked up CC and it is so good. After hearing "the one", I'm not sure I need to try any other presets.

You can easily go into you UAD account and view order history, copy that and paste with price and all. I find it hard to believe that you paid 50$ per plugin, and those were good plugins. Ive been using UAD for a long time and have never seen those pricetags, even on black friday etc. But you are welcome to convince me the oposite. I want to be convinced to know how to continue buying plugins that cheap!

With the coupons and especially the 50% off with coupons, most of the plugins I bought have been between $24-$99. I even had a couple free ones.
I understand looking at it they seem like the most expensive plugins around, but waiting for deals, stacking coupons, etc. they are some of the cheapest I've bought.

$50 per plug is normal for savvy UA users that use coupons, watch the sales, etc.

Sorry dude. I already copied and pasted the text of those transactions a few posts ago. I'm not going to now go back and take screenshots to satisfy you. You can either choose to believe it or not. I have no reason to lie.

Ya, this is ridiculous. I’ve always done packaged deals with the plugins and probably average around $50 per plugin as well. I think the only ones I payed more for where when the Studer and Ampex tape stuff came out way back in the day. I didn’t wait, I just got them. I think the last batch I bought came out to like $60 per plugin because of the online sales tax. They were doing a 3+1 plugin deal for like $300 and I had a voucher coupon in my account on top of that. I got Capitol Chambers, API 2500, API Preamp, and Chandler curve bender. Those were really expensive ones, you just have to play the game and wait for the right time.

Yep, same here. I've paid $24 plenty of times and have stacked coupons/discounts/sales to literally pay $0 on five different occasions. Add that to the free plugins I've received with my Apollo purchases and other promotions and I have paid an average price of $26.94 ($1,320 / 49 = $26.94) per plugin for the 49 plugins I own.

So even if I only ever desired to use or own HALF of those 49 plugins, I would STILL have only paid about $50 ($1,320 / 25 = $52.80) per plugin for those 25 or so plugins that I actually might use.

But as has been said, you gotta be patient and take advantage of the coupons, sales, and promotions. If you're someone who has to jump on the new plugins right away, you're going to spend a ton more.

The main way is to buy a larger bundle during one of the sales. So you are spending way more than $50 at the time, but broken down per plugin, the price works out that way.

I would not be without this plugin. So versatile. Can be used on everything. And in combination with the Ocean Way Studios plugin (and some chops) instant 'record'.

Thanks, UA, seriously.

It's all over this album.
