I'm not entirely sure how it works but that's what the creators intend for combined use. Musiqual EQs first, Pi/Phi afterwards.
Watch out, Pi/Phi has a few ms of delay which doesn't seem to be compensated by PDC... Yet another reason I only use it on the master. Great sounding plugins

Thanks for the info - much more useful than marketing blurb. That is pretty much what i picked up from using them (briefly)
it is crazy how the pi/phi reacts afterwards in the chain. I have it on my busses at the moment (drums/synth etc) it is a bit of a shame about the latency - i will do some tests later. But the way i have it set up, everything will go through one buss with pi/phi on so the latency should be the same for all mix elements. Very unique mixing tool. It is really nice to see someone attempting something a little different!!
These are great mix plugs. For me using the single band tone shapers on individual elements - which then get sent to a set of busses - with pi/phi on...pure magic.
I can do all my programming / sound design....get the track to a good place, then activate all of the MIA stuff and in ten mins i can lift bits out of the mix, create space, add sheen. It is quite awesome.
