I never knew about the Expression hack either. Will try it.
I would also prefer to have a dedicated knob for it on the GUI. Luckily Reaper has a MIDI tool plugin, so i can just insert one before and boost the Exp.

Another request when you are working on the Cab part, that to be able to completely bypass the Cab and mic emulation.
Not because i want to use an custom impulse, but sometimes i just like to use Amps to distort or warm the signal. Would work wonders on Bass i'm sure.

Im loving this more every time i use it. It really loves pedals too.
Also Percolate can do magic before or after it.

Yes, it really loves external pedals! Probably the kind of modeling helps with that. I think that there are situations where you get positive side effects like this when you use component modeling, like if you get more limited when you use black box approaches (they have other positive aspects, though, like sampling amps instead of building and testing them on circuits).

This is a quick experiment we just ran at office: a completely raw song (no reverbs, no mixing, nothing). Showcases almost all the pedals in the current bundle: MissTress, C2, P90, UV, SHOD, Carbon.

Pedal_Song

All amps, including the electric bass, are Deluxe1 (its tremolo is used, too, in some parts).
Drums are our MotorTown. Again, completely raw.

We decided to play a shameless cover using only SKnote tools:

- Deluxe1 amplifier on guitars and bass.
- Sweet Honey overdrive (virtual) where needed.
- Upcoming BrassBars electric piano.
- Drums courtesy of our MotorTown.

Let me know your feelings about this performance

Some "behind the scenes" included

Here we go with another extreme test: another cover, all parts through Deluxe1.

The lead part is through Sweet Honey overdrive.

Drums courtesy of MotorTown.

Answering to a FAQ: in the last video the Sweet Honey is our virtual one

Kind regards,

Amazing plugin, great price! Tried playing Neil's Dead Man theme through it.

This sounds really spot-on

Young's sound was exactly the reason we choose this model as our first one. So specific, so hard to get.

This is still my favourite result of a test with Deluxe1.

"Are You Passionate" album by Neil Young is reported as one of the best mastered albums (looots of dynamics!) and guitar's sound through a Deluxe is something we really wanted to match (also thanks to that "channel 2" trick to sustain the saturation on tails).
