I use Studio One 2.6.5, it doesn't see VST versions and can't load AU.
On my second Mac with OS 10.11.6 VST2 works fine.

Thanks, I will check this out. Do you use Studio One on 10.11 too?

consider an automatic normalization or limiting stage that would give user a deliverable file that will pass selected standard.

Some digital standards (youtube, facebook, itunes, etc)
Try free MLoudnessAnalyzer, you'll have to use your own limiter but it works great for me!

(View bigger)

1) Better meter:

- Shows max peak for the current Standard (red line)
- Colour co-ordinated with Short Term Max
- Added Momentary Max line (yellow - co-ordinated with other elements)

It would be very cool if the entire meter would colour/flash red (for example -27 to -9) if the Standard max (-9 in the screeny) was hit. A flashing red meter would be a visually strong/clear warning (alarm!) of clipping.

- Version with no gradients :¬)

Hi Youlean, congrats for your work and thanks for your nice offer (I already voted 5) but on mac OSX Yosemite, it crashes Presonus Studio One 3.3.2 and Wavelab 9.

...Also some trouble with Cubase on Win 7. If that gets fixed I would gladly use this plug. Liked it. Don't really know what the trouble was, didn't really crash, just did not get along.

Thanks! I like new buttons, but I don't like colors. This flashing idea seams nice, I will see if I can implement that.

Can you please note next time what happened. Also OS version and plugin format would help greatly!

No worries. Is it the blue and green boxes (range and ST LUFS) that put you off?

I checked again. This time I tried the VST2 version. It did not have any trouble at all. Running along fine.
So last time I was using VST3. Usually I go for VST3 when installing plugins where that is availible. But that is not a must. Happy with this version.
So for Cubase 9 on Win7 Vst3 has some problem.
Any possibility in future updates to be able to rescale the GUI downwards also.
Found it a bit big. Maybe 80 %

Great. It would be awesome if you can describe more your problem with VST3, that would really help me to fix bugs you are experiencing. In this way I can't do nothing.

I will see what would be minimum GUI scale. It depends how will plugin look. I was thinking around 50% for min and maybe 800% max (for high DPI), but we will see...

Set target to -24LUFS and limit (tolerance) to 2LU, set as default and you're set!

VST3 version crashes Nuendo 7 when loading a project where this meter is on the main bus. Nuendo loads the main bus first, before scanning plugins, and immediately crashes. The plugin passes Nuendo's plugin scan, and loads fine within the project, but it will prevent that project from being re-opened. Had to remove it from the VST3 folder.

Looks very nice! I'm getting more into the importance of metering using a measure like LUFS instead of RMS, and this looks like a great tool. Looking forward to that AAX version in the future.
