Thanks for the feedback. Glad that you like it!

About the mix knob/ comb filtering that you are getting: are you using the Mix knob in the Destruction section or outside of the plug-in?

I tested using the Mix knob in the Destruction section and outside of the plug-in parallel setup
I think its 4 samples in x4 oversampling mode

From the outside it is indeed expected that you may get comb filtering, not because of latency but because oversampling is not linear phase (to avoid latency). We'll double check for the internal mix.

By the way, here is another great overview video with guitar, bass and drums tracks:

When I add 4 samples delay to Dry signal it improves situation a little (less high freq loss)
Waiting for fix

Blue Cat's Destructor has just been updated!

V1.01 mainly brings improvements to the demo version (removing some limitations) and fixes a few issues found in the initial release (full details below).
a
The update is free for existing customers and can be found at the same location as the initial full version (link received by email upon purchase).

What's New:
- Changed demo limitations: up to 5 instances allowed, bypass time changed to half a second, and bypass parameter is not affected anymore.
- Fixed: no more comb filtering when using the mix knob with oversampling.
- Fixed smooth bypass crossfade (used to produce clicks).
- WARNING: On mac the plugin now requires Mac OSX 10.7 and newer - support for 10.5 and 10.6 has been dropped.

Enjoy!

Dear gear addicts,

It's time for an update! To celebrate the end of the year, we have just released Blue Cat's Destructor 1.1 and launched year-end promotions:

Quote:
This new version of the plug-in mainly brings user interface and workflow enhancements, to improve the tone sculpting experience: with the addition of locks for the gate, compressor, pre-filter, destruction module and post filter, it is now possible to prevent preset changes from modifying the settings of selected modules. A general GUI lock option is also available to keep the same layout and user interface settings when switching presets.

Blue Cat's Destructor 1.1 also brings more than 200 new visual styles, in addition to the 1400 existing combinations already available for racks customization. Demo versions in multiple plug-in formats can be downloaded on www.bluecataudio.com. The update is free for existing customers, available from the same location as the original purchase.

This release is also the opportunity for us to launch year-end promotions, with up to 25% discount on audio plug-ins, until January 5th, 2017. Existing customers are granted an extra 10% discount during the year-end promotions period, with a coupon received by email.

New in Blue Cat's Destructor v1.1:
- Lock each module or the user interface to prevent changes when loading presets.
- Bypass, input and output gain parameters are now independent from presets.
- Added more than 200 new visual styles with vintage knobs.
- New contrast setting for spectrogram display.
- Spectrogram display is not reset anymore when resized.
- Touch screen support improved: enlarged shape dynamics arrows and shape controls.

System requirements:
- Intel Mac running Mac OS 10.7 or newer.
- PC running Windows Vista or newer.

Pricing:
Blue Cat's Destructor: 71 EUR or $89 (excl. VAT), instead of 79 EUR or $99 (excl. VAT)

Enjoy!

Hi folks,

We have just finished a video series in 4 episodes that shows Destructor being used in the studio to record and mix guitar tracks.
As you can see, it is as easy as picking up a preset and tweaking it to your taste :-).
