its a good strip...the saturation and eq are great...the one weak spot for me is the compressor which is a little too grabby for my tastes...it doesnt remind me of a neve channel compressor at all but not sure if its meant to model one...
Thank you for comment. As written CS-3301 is not modelling any hardware.
In any case the EQs use an "analog" design, which makes the sound very "soft".
Hi TB,just register the cs 3301 after purchasing it within a few minutes of test. Now i'm trying it on a mix and there is this click a sound drop of a second fraction every 10 or 15 second.I'm using Pro Tools 12 aax 64 bit.
Any tip will be apreciated.
Actually the 90 second drop in the audio is still there.I think there is some problem in the instalation of the license.
Is there anybody aax 64 bit user out there wich coulp bring any tip?

Yesssss sir is working now.
Taking chance,i would like to point a thing that maybe others had noticed, when i open the plugin aax the input buttom and the output slider are on infinite position the input fully left the ouput fuly down,so no sound when i insert an instance, and its cause some problems when mixing on the fly.Weel it could be like it is but i had noticed that the vst version works fine with input at zero.Is that correct?
Thanx for a great plugin and the quick suport.

I recently got the registered version, but when I put the license key into the VST / VST3 folders, it still shows up as a "Demo" (I'm using Logic Pro X latest version), is that the correct place? Got a mix ready to be shipped and this is last thing.

Fixed. As communicated: for Logic you should place the key in folder components.
hmm, cannot hear and see any difference, just louder?
Thank you for clarification.
I can explain.
You need to concentrate to listen lower level notes how they are not consistent in level. Sounds like slow pumping in level.
Some lower level notes disappearing more than they should.
Example without saturation shows the best how lower level notes should be.
This sounds weird.
I mean 50% sat works oK, and it's usable but 100% sat sounds really good, but this problem creates strange feeling.
However saturation should compress a bit, that is what is it all about.

Mine too!!!Its a great channel strip and really sounds nice!!
Absolutely! I wanted to like DDMF's strip when it came out but it just wasn't for me. I used to work with the Wavearts Channel for a long time and never found another CS that I clicked with. CS3301 has it all: Perfect layout, great EQ, nice compressor, clean saturation (not gritty rather enhancing clean harmonics for a bit extra analog-y goodness), extremely low CPU (I work in Live and CPU can quickly become a problem), and nice "open" sound + it invites me to boost much more than with other plugins, like in my all-analog-days
Still crashing often when I engage 2x oversampling but I can live with it for now. Thomas from TBPro will look into it and surely fix the problem.
EDIT: not is it only on every channel, but I also start using it on busses (slower attack/release, lower ratio on compressor).
Very happy that I have discovered this fine plugin!!
