iZotope releases DDLY Dynamic Delay Plug-In

DDLY Dynamic Delay

Don’t delay, delay today!

DDLY Dynamic Delay responds to your track's musical dynamics to create versatile and intriguing delays. It's a one-of-a-kind effects plug-in that delays the signal differently depending on the character of the sound, without turning your track to aural mud. Adjust the threshold to split your signal based on transients, then send it down two separate analog or granular delay paths.

Get a cleaner, more complex sound than a traditional full-signal delay plug-in with DDLY!

Download DDLY for FREE until March 10 - after that DDLY will cost $49: https://www.izotope.com/en/products/...dynamic-delay/

Anyone looked that GUI with traditional 3D-lenses?

"In DDLY, you are not able to save settings as presets within the plug-in."

Izotope have just emailed out a recall sheet for it.

I hope iZotope are working on Alloy 3 seeing as they are bringing this sort of 'offshoot' plugin.

Yes, that works fine.

Just playing with it now - got a good Eventide910 detune thing going on a snare using the 'Grain' setting.

The GUI is a bit faint, anyone found the contrast dial for it?!

It is great fun, but without presets pretty it is pretty slow to operate. The faded out GUI is just terrible. Lets hope for a new skin suitable for human eyes. But, hey, you can't argue with the current price...

Lovely present, thanks isotope. But are you planning to issue a paid upgrade in which you can actually see the controls, and not some faded out illegible interface?

Thanks Izotope. As a colour blind user i salute you for making what is possibly the most useless plugin ive yet to see

Please reconsider the design for those with less than 20/20

What's kind of sad is Audiodeluxe is offering this free plugin with a purchase from their store. lol

If i recall correct, looking at that gui with red / cyan glasses will show the top buttons coming out of the gui a bit.

Tried that delay wearing some 3D glasses I brought home from watching The Force Awakens. Absolutely no 3D fx on any button! Angry customer call incoming!

I hope this is a precursor to a monster delay/modulation effect from Izotope. Having a lot of fun with this.

Like the sound a lot but i ended up using the basic logic view. I do this with a lot of plugins that i don't like looking at.

Dammit, this sounds really good. The UI is a bit odd (go in to Config and turn off Reactive Meters) but it's really easy to use and for free, it's a no-brainer.

This is the free version so functionality is limited (when it comes to GUI). To actually see the controls, you'll have to buy the paid version

What a coincidence, I just woke up this morning thinking "I need a plugin with recall sheets in 2016."

Should I get this, or hold out for the command line version?

Although... Can't you just save your settings within your daw?

The GUI is annoying (although it reminds me of old MACs) but the concept is too cool!

Modern polarized color 3-D glasses wouldn't work here. It looks like you'd need an old-school pair with one red lens and one cyan (blue-green) lens. This is Creature from the Black Lagoon and Jaws 3 era stuff.

I can save and recall presets within Logic X just fine. It doesn't have preset handling within the plugin itself.
