Well, there is a problem with sTilt under Cubase 6 and 8: it seems that the latency is not compensated. the column at "plugin info" within Cubase is empty and there is an horrendous latency upon playing.

Otherwise, this thing can generate mammoth of a bass out of a "thin lizzy" synth !

thanks

This has a very nice sound to it. The high end boost is very nice. Haven't had a chance to use it in the other direction yet (bass boost, highs attenuate). Love that the center frequency is variable.

Couple of things:

The latency is high, surely due to that it's linear phase. What I'd like to see is a version where latency is not an issue so it can be more of a "workhorse" type plugin. Tilt eq's are pretty amazing because with just a simple turning of a knob you can really fine tune the frequency balance of individual instruments, busses, or full mixes.

Also, I see that AAX is in the plans. Hope to see that soon.

Very nice plugin! Thanks for the freebie!

Well, yes, linear phase filter makes the high latency. Making the tilt filter with IIR design is much more complicated, CPU unfriendly and adds a lot of phasing.

In any case, i will test a very low latency version.

IN Logic 10.1.1 Latency is not being compensated for beyond the Eco mode. Medium and High quality are out of sync. This is version 1.01. Has this been fixed?

very cool plugin. it can really break up sound quite well and at times makes bass stand out more - at least to me.. For example make the bassline more audible.

For free you can't go wrong

.

I would suggest denoting explicitly (in a text line) the expected latency each mode generates as working with sTilt in a non compensated environment (like Cantabile) can (and is) very frustrating...

I meant within the plug... (so one could immediately see what latency is to be expected)
