Mac Mini & Magma 3T work OK with old PTHD cards?

I've been away for quite a while and just recently back into the "technical part" of music again and was wondering if there are any users of MacMini/magma3T with the older PT HD PCIe cards and how it's working. I know there are users with the HDX cards but I don't want to upgrade...

I don't think it will work, because for Macs to use Thunderbolt chassis's, the manufacturer must write a Thunderbolt aware driver for the specific PCIe card. They've done this for HDX and HD Native, but probably won't for TDM cards because they're discontinued.

But it may work with a Windows computer and Thunderbolt chassis.

That’s right, I tried it and it won’t work on a Mac.
