Small desktop monitors - good ones

I'm looking for smaller monitors for my computer desktop, 10 inches high or thereabouts. Lots of cheap options and I'm sure they all sound like it. Any top notch smaller monitors worth investigating?

thanks

Depends on the price range. I could suggest a pair of krk vxt 4's, but that's gonna run you $400 minimum for the pair. Or the little baby genelecs. I'm not sure what they're called but they make them in all sizes. I've seen little tiny ones.

Well, since you used the words "top notch", let's list some high-quality studio monitors that are 10 inches or less:

- Geithain RL 906 ($3500)
- Pelonis Model 42 ($1300)
- PSI Audio A14-M ($2500)

They all sound different, and my recommendation would depend on what kind of sound that you're after.

kfhkh This is what I use.

£2,048 +VAT in the UK for the standard "black ash" finish.

Don't know exactly what you mean by "desktop", if "nearfield" or "computer audio" monitor sided style , but i heard good things about Dynaudio DBM50, if that's what you're looking for. Not so pricey, worth considering i think :)
