Dark side of the moon reverb?

Does anyone know of a link or any info on the reverbs used on dark side of the moon? I believe it was EMT plates but was it a 140? 250? Anyone?

don't have a link for you but i recall alan parsons going into some detail on the production aspects, including reverb, in "behind the glass"...fwiw (it's a great book to have/read anyway)

140 I imagine. I don't think the 250 existed back then. I'm about 99% sure of that.

Hi! Just checked the "Behind the glass" book and Alan Parsons says:"I remember that we slaced for several hours trying to duplicate a reverb that I discovered on a rough mix for the roto-tom section. That took som experimentation, because I couldn't remember what I'd used! (laughs) (...) It was just a straight EMT plate with a little bit of delay through a tape machine"

so there you go... Or not mezed

You said 250 in your original post. The 240 is a different story. I believe they have a time line on the EMT site.
