ARC System Problem;
Hello. I purchased the ARC System and now Im going to take measurements of my room.
Unfortunately I have a problems with it. The first thing is a background noise, which is
too loud. I think that it is a reason for getting an error message (but Im not sure).

When everything is set up properly (= recording level) I got a "Take 12 Measurements" window.

10 sec - left speaker
10 sec - right speaker

And the result of measurement between 1 and 2 take - I get a message of the following content:

I cant go any farther.

Im asking You for a help with it. Could You tell me any possible solution ?
Am I thinking good with whis too loud background noise ?
I want to add that I try to take measurements at the listening levels.

Are you hearing the pulses coming from the speakers during the setup phase? You have to make sure those pulses are loud enough for the microphone to hear them. ARC gives you a window with a peak meter on it, and it will tell you when the pulses are in the "loud enough but not too loud" range.

I can't see any background noise being loud enough to drown out those pulses. If you do the setup right, the pulses are clearly the loudest thing in the room.

I would go back to the setup phase and make sure everything is set up properly.

Hi. I noticed this level requirement. I noticed that it is not possible to take measurements when the required level is too low, so I pass this.

I also noticed the unexpected boost in the level meter not related to the test signal dynamics.

I get this message after the first measurement. I think of possible reasons:

a. app bug
b. output of the soundcard is turned off (???)
c. it is simply a "stupid" message from the app telling that
speakers are not detected (so is it possible to physically detect the
monitors in my room ?) It is a pity that is not giving me an info about where they stand haha :-);

So no more jokes. It is a really important for me why I get this msg.

Sorry, can't offer any more help. I think a call to IK Multimedia support is a good idea.
