Modern Day version of Akai S20 or Yamaha SU 20

Hello!

I am wondering if there is any modern equivalent to the Akai S20 or Yamaha SU20. I like these synths because they were small, and very simple (record samples, press pads to play back samples). I am aware of the new MPC1000, but it has a lot of features I don't need. I just need several buttons, and several samples, with several banks for each song.

Is there any NEW equipment that does the same thing?

Thanks!
Rex

Roland SP-404 or SP-606, perhaps?

Or the older SP's (202, 303, 505, 808).
