I read in I believe computer music magazine there is a site where you can upload your track and run it through there analog audio gear and adjust the settings then have them print the mix and send it to you and it just has a per track cost? anyone heard of this please help as I cannot find it anywhere!!

What gear specifically are you looking for? Maybe I can help.

I wasn't directly for the moment looking for any gear I just read about a site that you can upload lets say your wav file to them and they will run it through any equipment you want (that they have) such as analog equipment for instance like a la2a and allow you to remotely on the site adjust the settings and sound to your liking then you pay whatever per track and download it. it gives you the ability to run your tracks through analog gear you don't have instead of going to a studio and I wanted to check this out but for the life of me I cannot find the magazine or the site name. I figured Someone here would definitely know.

Sounds like a cool service. The only thing would be price, would paying for someone else to run their LA2A on a track vs buying a plugin version of the LA2A? But sounds awesome indeed! Hope there really is a service like this. I've heard about similar services for guitar reamping on these boards.

yea there is Like I said it was in I believe computer music magazine it is actually pretty cheap if I can recall it might be at the top end $5 a track and they have it setup remotely to change the parameters of the gear via remotely on there website and again to used a 5 grand compressor and have the track on the analog feel can't be beat for that, Hence why I'm trying to find it I'm kicking myself that I didn't go to the site and bookmark it. but somebody on here has to have read it and know of it.

Correction Thanks to grenos!!! it's 1 euro and he has found it!!
