Boss RC-2 Loop Station
 

I just purchased an RC-2 Loop Station and am sampling different sounds rhyhtmic guitars, synths, etc..) into the 16 phrase presets to trigger during live performance. I trigger the samples by stepping on the pedal once, and then pressing the pedal twice to stop. Is there any way to 'turn off' the looping feature so I can just trigger the samples with one press and not worry about stopping the sample? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
