What music is rocking your boat lately?

I figure its time for another round up of what we're all digging.

I'm really loving this mix from Moderate on BPitch.
Moderat - Clash podcast

I've liked Moderate's own stuff for a while now. This however is an eclectic mix, and a kind of new combination of styles for me anyway. I could best describe it as dub techno with lots of dub step and idm/electronica and a bit of house, all mixed up together. There's some really excellent tracks, Joy Orbison, Four Tet, Ramadanman, etc.

There are so many mixes flying around the web, most bore me to death and I can't be bothered to even listen past the first minute. This has me excited though, I think its great and has even got me thinking of taking some of my own more down tempo electronica material and exploring something similar.

Anyways its a bit of balance to that B.E.P. cack, hope some of you enjoy it.

Some really good electronic music around at the moment. I spent about £55 on Boomkat last night after going through their new release round up. That's not a huge amount but it's been a long time since I've heard enough good music to make me want to spend anywhere near that in one hit. I usually just buy the odd LP or CD from Boomkat.

Music that is really floating my boat right now;

Lately I've been flipping back and forth between cutting-edge electro house like Phonat & Skrillex and old disco stuff like Giorgio Moroder & Cerrone.

Ivory Tower - Chilly Gonzales

Best album I've heard in a while. I really recommend to buy it.

Been rediscovering my roots - 90's German Techno

I frequent the electronic forums, but funny enough the music I create and listen to for some reason or another has very little synth work in it. The two albums I've been listening to nonstop these days are Arcade Fire - The Suburbs and Owen Pallet's - Heartland.

I think boat rocking is very bad, but Der Dritte Raum's "Der Kleine Korg Und Das Echo" is great.

I've been on a pretty serious dubstep kick lately. But I've been too busy to get new music, so I've been listening to the same stuff for a while.
