App/Plug-in that changes pitch like a turntable??

Everything I see seems to be geared towards pitch shifting while retaining tempo.

I'm simply looking for a small app or plugin that changes pitch like a turntable --- When you pitch it down the audio slows down/becomes longer, obviously.

I don't want to have to resort to getting some glorified DJ program to do this.

Anyone have any ideas.

Mac Intel by the way.

Logic pro / express 9 can do that

...as can elastic audio in PT, Ableton, etc etc. Basically any DAW should be able to do this. what do you have?

I thought elastic audio and the like were about shifting pitch but not tempo.

I do seem to recall Ableton being able to slow down audio by pitch whilst effecting the length/tempo in a natural way if desired but I use Logic.

Don't plan on upgrading to Logic 9 right now. I'm happy with Tiger and everything else the way it's set at the moment.

Thanks for the replies though. Will definitely check out turntablist.

Turns out The Amazing Slow Downer program I have does exactly what I need when you tinker with the preferences.

I made a Max/MSP patch that does this with a Wii-mote. It was easy.

SUGAR BYTES

You can use a midi keyboard to "play in" the turntable effect with Artillery. Works pretty well.
