Anyone using LED TVs in the studio ?

Hey everyone,

Was wondering if any of us are using any of the newer LED TVs in the studio rather than/in addition to computer monitors.

I was thinking specifically of the Samsung Series 6 32" LED TV.

Anyone have any opinions/pics? I've gathered from other threads that 32" seems to be the optimum size if you're sitting approx. 3 feet away or so...

thanks !

I've been running a 32" Magnavox for the last year with little to no problems.
The only issues i'm aware of:

Max resolution is 1380, which for some, doesn't have enough real estate. But I use it to see from a distance not for how much I can cram on a screen.

I have the studio setup on a single power switch. If I power up to play my keyboard but don't turn the computer on, the monitor sees no signal. The next time I power up, the monitor won't sync to the computer unless I turn the computer on first.

Other than that it's been very reliable, and I can see what's going on from 5-6 feet away.
