XLR to 1/4"

ok, I got a Great River M3-1NV that I have to connect to a FMR PBV-6A and then to an audiofire interface, meaning XLR> XLR> 1/4" balanced... I think I know how to deal with it, but I kind of would like to leave it open on a patch bay because I also got a RNC and a RLA, and I also would like to use the PBC-6A to other applications... my question is: I never had to connect 1/4" to XLR before, is there anything I should know, or should I get a patch bay or something?

I'd get a little TRS patchbay to organize all your stuff.

an XLR cable and a 1/4" TRS cable are the same thing with different connectors. The signal doesn't know the difference.

just plug and play thumbsup

But of course remember that the RNC's connections are not balanced...

You just need to use two TS-TS 1/4" unbalanced patch leads (per channel) into the back of the patch bay.

You could try a dbx PB-48 but reverse the RNC's connections on the PB-48 to be De-Normalled connections. This is easy - remove the board for the channels and turn it around.
