Help me choose a postpunk/goth guitar amp!

Hey folks,

Here's the lowdown. I'm selling a bunch of equipment to finance one nicer amp that I can treasure for many years. My interests/requirements are amps that can

1.) Produce a goth rock/post punk/shoegaze sound spectrum, in the vein of bands like Wire, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ride, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Chameleons UK, etc.

2.) My budget is 5-600 dollars. I dont need anything mega boutique, just a workhorse that has staying power and tone.

3.) I'd strongly prefer a 1x12 combo setup for portability purposes.

My pedal setup is, from beginning to end- Behringer Tuner, MXR Dyna Comp, Black Russian Big Muff, EHX Small Clone, Line 6 Echo Park, BBE Sonic Maximizer.

My guitar is a 1980s Korean Epiphone SG with a Seymour Duncan Alnico II in the neck and a SH5 in the bridge.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Reeves Custom 12 or 18

You may need to save a bit more, but there's plenty of great affordable used amps
out there.

Wow, you're almost a carbon copy of the two guitarists I play in a band with, except they have amps already. The musical influences are exactly the same. The only difference is a couple of effects and the guitar, but they have the same ones (and they don't have many between them).

If you're one of them, it's me, Jackson. lol
