Voxengo Voxformer 2.0

I was checking the new Voxformer out yesterday and have to say that I like it. I need to do some more comparing directly to my favorites but first impressions are good. I'm liking the compression on it but it has a lot of options and will take some time to put it through the paces. One of the things I have noticed is that it does use up some computer though.

For those who don't know it's a channelstrip that is geared towards vocals but obviously can be used on anything. EQ, 2 comps, de-esser, gate, presence, saturation, metering and who knows what else inside.

Yeah, voxformer was one of the voxengo plugs I really missed when I went mac.

Nice to see its available for osx too.

After playing with it for about an hour, i bought it.

It's a work Horse.
It allready has replace a few plugins in my tool box.

Parallèl compressed a kick with it, a bit of saturation and WOW... instant gratification.

Best 55$ i have invested in a long time.

Well done Voxengo kfhkh

Never used the original voxformer, either...the one knob compression is sort of a waves renvox type of thing? (but with the ability to make it 2-band or do two of them in parallel?)

i have to hear this.

No, not totally
It's just the way the interface is design.
U have acces to the attack and release through the edit bouton
But it has an automatic ratio and gain compensation.

Yes 2 band or two parallel via de mix knob (if i understood you right )

ahhh ok didn't know you still had access to those parameters. I'm not at my music box right now and not that familiar with voxengos tab guis. Thanks!

The price is definitely right on this....hard to resist.

voxformer is pretty cool and works well on vocals.

It's my go to "color" comp plug-in for the "dub" track when I do hip hop stuff.

puts out some pleasing distortion.
