OSX Soundcard for Deck and Peak
My wife needs a simple stereo I/O card for her G4 400 to edit voice overs in Deck and Peak running OSX. She really only needs unbalanced RCA connectors and 1 SPDIF I/O for dig transfer to and from her dat machine. Any suggestions on something good, easy to use and reliable. Perhaps a firewire interface??

I believe that the m Audio Audiophile 24/96 would be just the ticket. The Lynx L22 is better quality but I don't know if it has OSX drivers yet.

Audiophile 2496
You're describing the Audiophile to a "T." WTM.confoosed

OSX drivers have been available for it for over a year, and they work well.

However, when they were first released, they were for G4 processors only, not G3. I don't know if that's changed - so if using G3 you might want to look into it before purchasing.

I used the Audiophile for 2 years in OS9 and OSX before moving up to 8 channels. I recommend it.
