are you making entire pieces or using it for sound design/track ambiences?

any particularly good stuff available for OSX?

sure thing, not sure where youd draw the line between generative and normal composition, if yo mean fully automated, kick back and enjoy what it comes up with, nope...if you mean press a note and maybe it trigggers a few sequence hunks, and gneerally integrating external controllers to do **** normal softsynths samplers and 'timeline' apps cant do, then yes..

pure-data is my choicce, theres some other stuff on OSX, check out numerology as well..
