Alto ts312

I bought a alto ts312 (1 for now and was planning on buying a second)
I have tested it out at 0db and I can't hear any lows on most songs, only one or 2 songs with very deep lows I can actually here some of the lows
Any idea on what this could be it's brand new and I have only spent about 20 minutes testing it to find this out

How are you connecting your music source to the speaker. If it's a cable from a phone headphone output to an single XLR or TRS input on the speaker that is your problem, you can't inject an unbalanced stereo signal into a single balanced mono input because everything common on booth channels(usually all the low frequencies) gets cancelled.
The correct cable to use in this case is a 1/8" TRS to dual 1/4" TS.

I have an xlr to female 3.5 which is then connect to my ddj which is RCA to male 3.5mm.
Do I need RCA to xlr or RCA to 1/4?

Charlie read the manual.
You are sending a line level.
Adjust your levels accordingly on the back of the Alto.
RCA to 1/4 would make things less complicated and setting the Alto for line level should work.

Either would do but you need 2 of them like this cable...
