How do you create your percussion sounds? In particular the industrial slams heard through many of your tracks.

Downtuned toms thru a Sherman? Field recordings? Nicking bits off Einstuerzende Neubauten records? :)

Most from recordings or even on free sound is a ton of clangs, bang on a super snappy compressor a plate reverbs and distortion than a gate after to control it :)
