Behringer Ultraverb Pro REV2496 DEAD!

Hi there,

today I turned my Rev2496 on after some months since last time and it sadly seems to have died.

When I press the power button, nothing happens most of the times. However, one in ten attempts (approximately), all LEDS start flashing at once (it seems some diagnostic code) but the display remains off and the unit never ends booting.

I've got the schematics but no other technical info seems to be available to help repair it (i.e. a full service manual).

It seems to me that it's a PSU failure, but my knowledge in electronics is limited.

Any thoughts?

UPDATE: I've just powered it on again and one capacitor on the PSU has exploded.

So, it now seems clear it was the PSU.

I guess it's time to recap everything.

Same thing happened to me today. Any chance you can share the schematics for the PSU?

This is all I could find. But I'm not sure those schematics are valid for any version of the 2496.
