Need some help with Thunderbolt

I am about to pull the trigger on a UAD apollo twin x audio interface... the only problem is I am on a custom windows pc and I do not have a thunderbolt card installed yet. I have no idea which thunderbolt card I should get. I want to make 100% sure that I get the right thunderbolt pcie so I don’t have any problems connecting the Apollo... also after some research it also looks like I would need a thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapter. Anybody out here using an Apollo on windows ? Any insight on the correct things to buy would be greatly appreciated

I’m using an Apollo X8 on Windows . My motherboard has thunderbolt built into it. I think the ASUS cards are your best bet tbh. But make sure there’s a specific jumper connection required on the thunderbolt card you will need to check if your motherboard has that connection.

I am using an Apollo 8 blackface on Windows 10 with zero issues. There are several articles on the UA website that discuss compatible PC's and cards. The main thing is to make sure your motherboard supports TB
