A rare video on reverb experiment
 
Some years ago I have seen a video, which was like a rare BBC video, in which a researcher has made a model of a concert hall to measure its reverb. He put also a scaled string instrument (maybe a guitar), and then the results have been pitch-shifted in order to become valid data for the real concert hall.
First of all, I'm looking for this video if anyone knows what I'm talking about.
And also I'd like to ask if any of you have attempt some kind of prototype before start building up your studio or any acoustic environment.

Imo one of AES 2019 highligts was the Physical Scale Model Echo Chamber as a Real-Time Reverberator The proposed framework creates a partitioned convolution engine where the convolution processing is carried out physically on an up-scaled live audio stream in the model. The resulting reverberated sound is captured and down-scaled, providing the result to the user in real-time

Another AES highlight was the Peter D Antonio / Styroc lecture. They have developed / developed a "low frequency simulation program" called NIRO, in addition they develop a "parametric" adjustable low frequency quasi HH module which should be placed where the amplitude is highest (calculated in NIRO). A 2*2*4m 20 ton ! impedance tube was built for the purpose
I built myself a 3.5 m long impedance tube 20 years ago and learned that axial modes are not energy problem just a amplitude problem .

The client demanded 7 chairs with similar leveled bass respons for fast decisions when testing the cabin sound
The scaled model told me both the frequency of the hotspots and where they were located The Scania link below show how the HH boxes are used as a very effective and energy saving parametric eq
