A small gritty drum kit for Kontakt with a wide range of rare and tasteful sounds!

Use the 4-channel mixer to create your own unique sound, easily add authentic saturation and compression, and instantly get perfect grooves at the press of a key!! Raw, dusty, and a little wild :)

Available now at the -50% INTRO price!!!
(Intro offer ends Nov. 15th)
More info: Loops de la Crème - Kontakt Libraries

Really proud of this little kit, the sampling with 4 contrasting microphones around the kit is quite special!
I used a vintage AKG C451, a Beyer M201, a SE VR1, and a vintage RE15.
It’s easy to get tons of different tasty sounds with the included mixer with volume and phase controls freshflowe
Here the kit and mic positions:

Some cool news:

Free download: 20 MIDI drum loops

I recorded the built-in grooves from MULTIMONO DRUMS in Ableton and created 20 two-bar MIDI loops.
These will be practical to quickly create realistic rhythm tracks with the library, and they will also work with any drum kit that follows the standard GM drum mapping.

You can download them for free, they are on the product page next to the library's info.
Have fun with the loops, be creative! :)

Bought, 'cos I like it dirty! ;)

** UPDATE **

Used this library to replace an EZ Drummer 2 (retro-lofi) generated drum part - instant vibe!

Hooooly crap this is sick. Nice work!!

Any way you can make this work properly (non Demo mode) with Kontakt free player? Don't really want to have to pull for full Kontakt as well.

sorry no way, that would mean having the library licensed by Native Instruments, it wouldn't be viable for such a product. ;)

Ah ok, I can live with the workarounds then. They do sound great!

Question...

In the demo, the 70s Wide Crunch preset sounds like there is some stereo imaging in it. How are you doing that? Is that just the IR? Are you stacking multiple instances of Kontakt and panning them?

I'm not seeing any pan capabilities in the mixer... but it would stand to reason that if you spread out the 4 mono mics you would get some natural imaging, which might be very cool.

I dig the basic instrument capture... sounds very much like a unified instrument.

Thanks for asking! You got it right, there is some stereo panning in this preset: I panned the ribbon samples 60% right, and the 'dap/RE15' samples 60% left.
Another preset (14_Quicky FunkMaster) uses the same technique, with less extreme panning.
When I work on presets, I like to go beyond what the interface offers and experiment with pitching, panning, adding other effects... :synth: Just trying to get a nice palette of sounds for the user;)
You've got great hearskfhkhfreshflowe

How are you doing the panning... in separate Kontakt instances?

No, it's inside Kontakt, here a step-by-step:
- click the tool editor to 'open' Kontakt
- click the group editor, select the group(s) you want to pan (make sure you select the 2 groups corresponding to one mic channel)
- open the mapping editor, click 'selected groups only'
- right-click in the mapping editor, click select all zones
- adjust panning ('Pan')
- repeat for other groups if you wish
- close and resave the instrument :synth:
