Hello,

I'm sorry that this is a total newb question and I've read the user manual and several similar posts, but I don't fully understand and don't want to set it up wrong. How do I hook this head to this cab? As in, do I switch it to 4 ohms, 8 ohms, mono etc. It's a Marshall 1960 cab and jcm 2000 dsl 100 head. The plug on the far left of the head says "16 ohms"

Thank you so much for your help!!

Switch cab to mono input and use the 16ohm jacks on both head and cab.

Do I switch the switch on the head to 4 or 8ohms? Or does it not matter because I'm using the 16 ohms plug? Does the 16 ohms plug bypass that switch?

Using the 16 ohm output on the head bypasses the other output(s), so you won't need to do anything with the switch.

Just use the 16 ohm output on the head into the 16 ohm input on the cab with the cab switched to mono and you'll be fine.
