Gearslutz - From Costa Rica

I live in San Jose, Costa Rica and have built a soundproof room (as much as possible) in a 17.58 ft x 21.32 ft x 9ft, no windows, one door (not yet finished) using corner Klipschorn speakers, Klipsh center and rear speakers and 135" screen.

I am planning on building my own sound absorbers for mid and high frequencies, floor to ceiling and eventually I will build bass traps in corners (floor to ceiling) and diffusers on the rear wall and ceiling.

From this forum I saw another member from Costa Rica. This is what incentivized me to join. I didn't know there were others from here doing similar DIY audio treatments. I am hoping to pick up and share some good information related to audio and acoustic systems.
