Jamie munro 3rd September 2019 05:23 PM

stacked spec !

this synth is like the 80s/90s where manufacturers gave as much as possible rather than this current century's trend which is in total contrast

i see GD is in cahoots, good stuff

ToyBox 3rd September 2019 05:26 PM

Something a bit different, nice.

EvilDragon 3rd September 2019 05:30 PM

I am very intrigued.

Not bad!

A bit shame it's only 8 voice poly. 16 would have been DA SHIZ.

Looks and sounds nice!

Klonfocius 3rd September 2019 05:53 PM

Ellegant, great stuff yet short on voices!

But then we wouldn’t have much to look forward to on the inevitable 61-voice sequel with multi-timbral, bluetooth specs, wifi, new seasonal skin Apex Legends collab, lmao.

Looks very exciting. Nice to see a full-featured digital hardware synth at what seems to be a fair price point. Will definitely look into getting this one upon release.

shabbyroad 3rd September 2019 06:03 PM

Well we’ll well!

Is that the sound of my gas being triggered?

apessino 3rd September 2019 06:04 PM

Came totally out of nowhere - good job keeping it under wraps until all set and ready to go! kfhkh

Looks and sounds awesome - great UX design too!

Best of luck... wonderful to see new, original instruments coming to market - it's on my shortlist. If I didn't have 3 synths already coming in September I would order already. freshflowe

Jamie munro 3rd September 2019 06:10 PM

i love this Glen, great work pal and at a very competitive price - what a synth :synth: hittthittt

small thing that pleases me, the logo makes me scream 80s, very very cool

finally something that looks like it may take my blofeld on for a fight with regards to deep design

apessino 3rd September 2019 06:11 PM

Never mind - put a preorder in with Sweetwater.

Resisted less than 5 minutes - new record.

Kja 3rd September 2019 06:13 PM

Seems really awesome! I guess all poly synths don't have to cost three grand!!

apessino 3rd September 2019 06:15 PM

On top of how awesome this sounds, I honestly would have paid the asking price just to drive my Deckard's Dream with it. Poly At and ribbon, finally got my CS80! kfhkh

Kja 3rd September 2019 06:16 PM

Polyphonic aftertouch!! Whoo hoo!! It sounds kinda prophety to me, but in a cool digital way.

I like how you think!

apessino 3rd September 2019 06:23 PM

Daniel Fisher just said that you can daisy chain the module version with the keyboard one to make a 16 voice version. So for around $2K you get the 16 voice plus the cool polytouch pads on the module.

Cool stuff!

EvilDragon 3rd September 2019 06:25 PM

I think waiting for 5-octave multitimbral version would be better. I hope they have that planned :)

Deleted 998abe3 3rd September 2019 06:46 PM

I like the strategy.

Complete silence...... Suddenly your name pops everywhere, many reviews on YouTube come out and a price tag that has the ability to shake the market considerably. Nice!

Deleted b5734b5 3rd September 2019 06:48 PM

Really good :)

namnibor 3rd September 2019 06:53 PM

I’m thinking this synth is 8 voiced because a little Hyrasynth venom goes a long way and may be one of those instruments where less is best because of all the possibilities of movement under hood.

Please have Sweetwater carry thisabduction

djwaxxy 3rd September 2019 06:54 PM

I was going to buy a 8 voice prophet rev2 not going to get it im gonna buy this one instead :)

ToyBox 3rd September 2019 06:57 PM

I'm impressed. Features alone made it clear this was made by someone who likes synths, this got confirmed by the attention to details and sweet interface work. Given the build, polykeyboard, and newcomer status I was expecting this to have a luxury price but it doesn't. It's reasonably competitive.

And gloriously digital kfhkh

Kja 3rd September 2019 07:02 PM

Is it plastic though? Not that there is anything won't with that, but it looks like it's plastic besides the end caps.
