Mic Accident

Hi there

I had a little accident with my Beyer MC740 mic where the screws that hold the capsule in place came off. It works fine but need some new screws which are tiny.

I contacted Beyer, they asked me to contact UK supplier who hasn't responded.

Any idea where I might be able to buy these types of screws?
I am based in London btw.

Thanks

Isn't Polar Audio the place for Beyer in the UK? They used to have all kinds of spare parts for Beyer.

MC740, very good mic by the way. And if Polar don't feel like it, maybe ask Stewart from http://xaudia.com/
He probably has a few of these little screws.

Yes Polar Audio that's correct. Did contact them but no reply. Maybe I should give it another go. Thanks for the link btw, will contact Stewart if no joy at Polar.

I agree, I've done some great recordings with mc740.

Stewart is the best. So helpful and always quick to respond.
